Scottsdale Child Care Centre
The centre is situated in the grounds of the Scottsdale Primary School in Mary Street, Scottsdale. Scottsdale Child Care Centre provides quality child care for children aged between 6 weeks to 12 years and is run by experienced qualified staff.
Philosophy
Scottsdale Child Care Centre believes that children deserve and have a right to feel safe, physically and emotionally in a nurturing environment. This environment develops, challenges and enables each child to progress at their own rate of learning. We aim to encourage children to develop a sense of self worth in building the formation of stable, caring relationships with staff and other children.We also support the development of independence and personal achievements, build an awareness and understanding of equal opportunity, social justice and cultural diversity, as well as help children to actively explore and develop an awareness and respect for their environment.Hours of operation
The centre offers care between the hours of 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Session times are:
Full Day 8.00 am - 5.00 pm
Morning Session 8.30 am - 12.30 pm
Afternoon Session 1.00 pm - 5.00 pm
The centre is closed for 4 weeks over the Christmas holiday period. Fees are not payable during this closure period.
