Northern Children's Network (NCN) is a 'Not for Profit', community focussed childcare service provider.

NCN is committed to providing Tasmanian families access to childcare that is high quality and fun for children aged from birth to 13 years (Centre Based Care is 12 years)

NCN commenced in 1975 as a small Family Day Care service and has now grown to become the largest provider of Family Day Care in the state.

NCN covers the North and SCS, the South,  We also also offer employment opportunities for budding Family Day Care and In Home Care educators.

We are here to make sure children have a safe place to play, and grow into confident learners.

NCN continues to work closely with both rural and regional communities, focusing on supporting their individual needs in relation to child care.

NCN overall supports approximately 250 registered child care educators PLUS innumerable families and around 100 staff.

Our Long Day Care Centres include
Beaconsfield, Bicheno, Campbell Town, Triabunna, Queenstown, Scottsdale, St Marys, and Flinders Island.

Exciting and fun-packed After School Care and School Holiday Care programs are available at most of these Centres.
including Amy Road, Newstead, and After School Care at Invermay Primary School.

NCN has  a simple philosophy, to 'help create confident children'.

In October 2013, NCN and SCS were proud recipients of the Business Enterprise Award, which is part of the statewide Business Achievement Awards.
