Become an In Home Carer

In Home Carers are self-employed people who have as their priority, the provision of quality care to children, in the family home.  Carers come from very diverse backgrounds and each has something unique to offer children in care.  It is this diversity which we value and believe offers parents the opportunity to choose a carer whose values and life choices fit most comfortably with theirs.

In home carers aim to compliment the care a child receives at home.  To achieve this it is important that the parent and the carer have a mutual respect and trust for one another to enable this partnership to be effective and in the best interests of the children concerned.  Training is an ongoing expectation.  All carers hold a First Aid Certificate and CPR is annually updated.  Some of our carers have or are working towards tertiary qualifications in child care, whilst others are Nanny trained.

We regularly run carer induction sessions, if you are interested in becoming an in home carer please contact us on 6341 1555 for more information.
